Community Support
Skywest Airlines takes pride in supporting many events and causes throughout our state. From the Arts to Regional Sporting groups, we like to help out where we can.
Skywest is actively involved in a wide variety of regional community programs, projects and charities. We are proud that our contribution provides essential support in assisting thousands of Western Australians.
Below are a few of our major partnerships in which we provide support throughout the year. In addition to these we are strong supporters of local events and fundraisers in our current regional WA ports including Albany, Broome, Geraldton, Esperance, Exmouth, Kalgoorlie, Karratha and Kununurra as well as ports we previously serviced such as Carnarvon, Kalbarri and Monkey Mia.

Kent St. Senior High School Aviation Partnership
Skywest Airlines, Canning Coalition and Kent Street State High School have entered into a partnership for sponsorship of the aviation industry students attending Kent Street High School. The students are currently undergoing pilot and engineering training and the Skywest Engineering Department have been host to those students studying aeronautical engineering. The students in the pilot programme undertake ‘jump seat’ rides on regular passenger flights with Skywest Airlines.
Skywest Airlines is very proud to be involved with this career development initiative for young West Australians training to be part of the aviation industry.
Sponsorship Requests
Skywest Airlines believe it is an important part of our business to support our states regional and local communities where possible. However sponsorship budgets are limited and it is not possible to assist every application.
Requests are reviewed monthly and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We ask that you allow 4 weeks for us to evaluate and respond to your request and that follow up calls in this period be limited so that we can get back to you in a timely matter.
Please forward your one page letter to our Marketing Coordinator, outlining the details of your event and send with any supporting materials to sponsorship@skywest.com.au
