Skywest increases direct services to Carnarvon and implements direct Geraldton to Karratha connection
Skywest Airlines has adjusted its schedule in consultation with the local communities to provide more viable connections for the Mid West, Gascoyne and Pilbara regions.
The amendments that are effective 07 December will provide additional capacity into Carnarvon and will make the three times a week service between Geraldton to Karratha, a direct service,
Skywest Airlines GM Commercial, Ian Wheeler, said the additional capacity into Carnarvon comes from increased demand.
“The change to the schedule will provide Carnarvon with an additional 10% capacity.” Mr Wheeler said.
”The other positive to the schedule adjustment, is the Geraldton to Karratha link which now becomes a direct service, with it no longer stopping via Carnarvon”
The frequency of the imperative Geraldton – Carnarvon connection remains the same; the only alteration is the days of operation now being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
