Sales and Marketing
Our Sales and Marketing Department consists of the following areas:

Our Human Resources Department focuses greatly on recruiting the right people for the right roles. They offer support and advice to staff across all levels, providing overall policy direction on HRM issues. In addition to providing centralised HR functions, the human resources team is responsible for; employee recognition and employee assistance programmes, health benefit projects, superannuation benefits, workers compensation and a number of new and improved initiatives.
Our Flight Operations Department is responsible for the safe and efficient flight and ground operation of the aircraft fleet and compliance with the relevant flight operations regulations of CASA.
This responsibility includes the provision of adequate numbers of qualified aircrew to conduct safe and efficient flight and ground operations of the aircraft fleet in conformance with company procedures. Including; flight planning, trim sheet design, fuel use analysis, navigation, aircraft performance and weight and land balance. In addition their responsibilities extend to the establishment and promulgation of flight crew standards and techniques, cabin emergency procedure standards and training crew to ensure common standards and competency is maintained.
Our Finance division not only provides financial data to management on a regular basis but also makes an important contribution to the management decision-making process. Specific activities performed within the finance division include financial accounting, management accounting, sales reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgets, costing, payroll and fixed assets.
Our Engineering division is responsible for providing and maintaining safe, efficient and reliable aircraft for the Skywest Airlines’ fleet. The Supply division within Engineering is responsible for the material management function which ensures uniform, timely and economic requisitioning, purchasing, storage and distribution of both aircraft spares and commercial goods and services.
