Pet Transport
Animals not travelling on the same flight as you should be lodged with Skywest Freight directly and will travel as freight.
Skywest Freight offers transport services for both animals travelling on the same flight as yourself and unaccompanied animals between Perth and Albany, Broome, Darwin, Esperance, Exmouth (Learmonth), Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karratha or Kununurra. Available ports are subject to flight schedules and availability and may change at any time without any notice. Contact Skywest Freight for clarification.
Animal Crates - accompanied & unaccompanied pets
Skywest Freight does not currently sell or hire animal crates. Skywest will only accept pet containers that meet the IATA regulations. Click here for details.
On Skywest, the maximum allowable weight of combined pet and cage is 50kg. Anything over this weight is subject to prior arrangement.
Please note that some of the larger dogs will not fit in a large crate. Larger crates can be hired from the following organisations:
